The Problem

Fulcrum Automotive Solutions had been approached by a leading vehicle leasing company to manage their vehicle glass incident service. Fulcrum would be responsible for managing the whole chain of events, along with all of the finance and administrative functions. A complicated rule set prescribed how jobs should be allocated to the suppliers and data needed to flow seamlessly back to the leasing company. Fulcrum were looking to appoint a software development partner who could translate their requirements and create a scalable solution with maximum visibility and efficiencies which would enable them to deliver and exceed the expectations of the contract

The Solution

ioSTUDIOS were appointed as development partner after a competitive procurement process. Our team were quickly able to interpret the requirements of the project alongside recommending potential future competitive advantages and income streams for Fulcrum.

Following a discovery exercise our team developed a user experience prototype of the software, which was used by our client to secure their contract with the leasing company.

The software was then developed by the ioSTUDIOS team using agile as the project framework, ensuring quick delivery of useable functionality to the client every two weeks.

The project delivery team from ioSTUDIOS worked closely alongside the team at Fulcrum to ensure the solution was rigorously tested prior to deployment which allowing for a seamless transition when the contract started.

The Result

Now named Pivotal365 the software provides management control for Automotive Glass Incidents, allowing Fleet Managers & Insurers to interact with Glass Suppliers, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Since its launch the system processes and manages hundreds of jobs a day across multiple glass suppliers.
